How to maintain stainless steel dust collector?

Regular scientific maintenance can extend the service life of stainless steel dust collectors,stabilize dust removal efficiency,avoid filter blockage,corrosion,air leakage and mechanical failure,and meet food-grade,environmental and production safety standards.

1.Daily Routine Maintenance

Check the operating sound,fan vibration and running temperature every shift to find abnormal conditions in time.

Observe the differential pressure gauge;high pressure difference means the filter element or filter bag is blocked and needs cleaning.

Check all sealing doors,flanges and pipe joints to ensure no air leakage and dust leakage.

Clean the surface of the stainless steel body regularly to reduce oil stains,dust accumulation and surface oxidation.

Confirm the compressed air pressure is within the standard range to guarantee normal pulse jet cleaning.

2.Regular Filter Maintenance(Core Part)

Perform automatic pulse ash cleaning daily to reduce fine powder adhesion on filter media.

Take out and clean filter cartridges or filter bags regularly;shake off surface dust and use low-pressure air for reverse blowing.

Replace aging,damaged or severely blocked filter materials in time to prevent exhaust exceeding the standard.

For food and humid working conditions,use waterproof,oil-repellent and anti-mold filter materials to avoid caking.

3.Ash Discharge System Maintenance

Clean the ash hopper,dust drawer or collection bin on a regular basis to prevent dust accumulation and arching.

If equipped with a star-shaped unloader,regularly check the rotation flexibility,bearing lubrication and sealing performance.

Prevent wet dust from sticking to the hopper wall to avoid mildew,corrosion and unsmooth ash discharge.

4.Stainless Steel Body&Anti‑corrosion Maintenance

Although 304/316L stainless steel has good corrosion resistance,regularly wipe away acid,alkali and oil stains.

Avoid long-term accumulation of humid and corrosive dust inside the equipment to prevent pitting corrosion.

Inspect welding seams and dead corners periodically;repair local rust or oxidation spots in time.

Keep the internal cavity dry after shutdown,especially for food factories and high-humidity workshops.

5.Pneumatic&Control System Maintenance

Drain water and oil from the air storage tank and air filter regularly to keep the compressed air clean.

Inspect pulse valves,air bags and air pipes for air leakage;replace damaged pulse diaphragms timely.

Check the pulse controller parameter settings,ensure the blowing interval and time are reasonable.

Fasten loose electrical connectors and keep the electric control box dry and dust-proof.

6.Fan&Power System Maintenance

Regularly check fan bearings,add lubricating grease,and eliminate abnormal noise and friction.

Clean fan impeller dust to prevent unbalanced rotation and vibration.

Check equipment grounding and static conduction devices,especially for flammable organic dust.

7.Long-term Shutdown Maintenance

Completely clean internal dust and residual powder before long-term shutdown.

Dry the whole equipment,close all access doors,and isolate humid air.

Cut off the power and air supply,and do regular inspection and moisture-proof treatment.
