Why stainless steel dust collector dust leakage?
Dust leakage of a stainless steel dust collector is mainly caused by sealing failure,filter damage,improper installation,unreasonable airflow and improper operation.Clear causes and simple analysis are as follows.
1.Sealing and Structural Air Leakage
Aging,missing or loose rubber gaskets on inspection doors,flanges and ash hopper connections.
Poor welding quality of stainless steel shell,tiny weld cracks or hole defects.
Loose connection bolts,uneven compression,resulting in gaps at joints.
Negative pressure inside the equipment causes external air inflow and fine dust overflow.
2.Filter Bag/Filter Cartridge Failure(Main Cause)
Filter bags are worn,holed,aged or cracked by long-term friction.
Improper installation:loose bag mouth sealing,wrong installation position,dust bypassing the filter.
Excessive pulse blowing pressure leads to fiber damage and filter media breakage.
Serious clogging and hardening of filter bags,reducing filtration performance and causing penetration.
3.Ash Discharge System Abnormity
Poor sealing of star-type unloader,ash drawer or dust discharge valve.
Dust bridging and accumulation in the ash hopper,resulting in unsmooth discharge and dust re-entrainment.
Long-term opening of the ash discharge outlet without effective sealing measures.
4.Pipeline and Air Duct Problems
Loose connection of inhalation pipes,damaged soft connections,and gaps at pipe joints.
Unreasonable duct design,excessive local wind speed,causing dust backflow and overflow.
Blocked or damaged exhaust pipes,leading to abnormal internal pressure fluctuation.
5.Operation and Working Condition Factors
Long-term overloaded operation with excessive dust concentration beyond design range.
High humidity,sticky dust adheres to filters and walls,breaking normal filtration.
Unreasonable pulse cleaning cycle:too frequent or insufficient blowing.
Unqualified equipment grounding,static accumulation leading to fine dust adhesion and leakage.
6.Manufacturing&Material Defects
Thin stainless steel plate,easy to deform under long-term negative pressure.
Inferior accessories such as low-quality sealing parts and thin filter materials.
