Plenum Pulse Bag Filter

The Plenum Pulse Bag Filter,also known as air-box pulse bag filter,is a high-efficiency dry-type dust removal device widely used in industrial flue gas cleaning and dust collection.Integrating the advantages of compartmented reverse blowing and pulse jetting,it overcomes the shortcomings of insufficient kinetic energy in traditional reverse blowing and simultaneous filtration during dust cleaning,achieving superior performance and reliability.

Its structure consists of a sealed casing divided into multiple independent chambers,filter bags with metal cages,a dust hopper,an air inlet/outlet,a pulse cleaning system(including electromagnetic pulse valves,compressed air manifolds,and a PLC controller),and a dust discharge device.Notably,no venturi tubes are installed at the bag openings,reducing operational resistance and simplifying maintenance.

During operation,dusty gas enters the hopper,where large particles settle by gravity.Fine dust-laden air flows upward through the filter bags,with particles trapped on the outer surface while clean gas passes through and exits via the air outlet.When the pressure drop reaches a preset value,the PLC triggers offline cleaning:the lift valve of one chamber closes,and pulse valves inject high-pressure compressed air(0.5–0.7 MPa)instantly.This causes the bags to expand sharply,shaking off dust into the hopper for regular discharge.

Designed for high adaptability,it handles inlet dust concentrations up to 1,300 g/Nm³and temperatures from 70°C to 220°C,with outlet emissions below 10 mg/Nm³.Boasting a 90%dust removal efficiency,low air leakage rate(≤3%),and long bag service life(over four years),it is ideal for cement,power,chemical,and metallurgical industries.
