1. General Introduction
Catalytic combustion waste gas treatment equipment, also known as RCO catalytic oxidation equipment, is an efficient and environmentally friendly device specially developed for volatile organic compounds (VOCs). It adopts low-temperature catalytic combustion technology to decompose organic waste gas into harmless carbon dioxide and water vapor under the action of special catalysts. It is widely applicable to low and medium concentration organic waste gas generated in industrial production, featuring safe operation, low energy consumption and no secondary pollution.
2. Working Principle
Under the action of precious metal catalysts, organic waste gas is heated to a moderate temperature of 280–400°C. The chemical reaction activation energy of VOCs is reduced by the catalyst, so organic pollutants can be fully oxidized and decomposed without open flame combustion. The released heat can be recycled to preheat the incoming cold waste gas, realizing self-heat circulation, greatly reducing heating energy consumption and achieving energy-saving and efficient purification.
