Rotary Airlock Valve

1.Product Overview

A rotary airlock valve,also known as a rotary valve or star feeder,is a critical pneumatic conveying and dust control component.It is widely installed at the discharge outlet of dust collectors,silos,hoppers and cyclone separators.The device maintains airtight isolation between positive and negative pressure zones while continuously and quantitatively discharging bulk solid materials.

2.Working Principle

Driven by a motor and gear reducer,the multi-blade rotor rotates slowly inside a sealed housing.Materials fill the rotor cavities from the upper inlet,then are carried to the lower discharge outlet by rotor rotation and discharged by gravity.The closed rotor blades form an effective air seal,preventing air backflow,pressure leakage and dust escape.
