1.Product Overview

A rotary feeder,also named star feeder or rotary discharge valve,is a high-efficiency quantitative discharging and air-locking device.It is widely installed at the bottom of dust collectors,cyclones,silos and hoppers.It continuously discharges powder,granular and small lump materials while maintaining pressure balance and preventing air leakage,which is essential for pneumatic conveying and dust removal systems.

2.Working Principle

Powered by a motor and reduction drive,the multi-vane rotor rotates at a constant speed inside the sealed housing.Material fills the rotor compartments from the top inlet,then is delivered to the discharge port and released by gravity.The tightly fitted rotor and housing form a reliable air seal,avoiding air backflow,pressure loss and dust overflow.
