Why does Plastic Sintered Plate Dust Collector leak dust?
Plastic sintered plate dust collector dust leakage rarely comes from filter plate penetration.Most problems are caused by installation,sealing,operation and structural failure.
1.Sealing&Air Leakage Problems(Most Common)
Aging,missing or loose rubber gaskets between filter plates and frame.
Poor sealing of access doors,flanges,ash hopper and inspection openings.
Loose cabinet bolts,uneven pressing,resulting in gaps and fine dust overflow.
Negative pressure inside the machine causes outside air inflow and dust escaping from gaps.
2.Sintered Filter Plate Failure
Cracked,deformed or broken plastic sintered plate due to collision or overpressure.
Improper installation:loose clamping,wrong assembly,dust bypassing the filter surface.
Long-term erosion by high-temperature or strongly corrosive gas causes micropore damage.
3.Ash Discharge System Defects
Poor sealing of dust drawer,star unloader and ash discharge valve.
Blocked ash hopper leads to dust accumulation and secondary dust re-entrainment.
Unreasonable ash cleaning cycle causes excessive dust buildup inside the equipment.
4.Air Duct&Fan Abnormity
Loose air duct joints,damaged soft connections,pipe cracks.
Excessive fan air volume,super negative pressure,breaking the stable airflow balance.
Unreasonable duct design causes local turbulence and dust backflow.
5.Improper Operation&Working Conditions
Excessive pulse blowing pressure,which damages the filter plate structure.
Overload operation with ultra-high dust concentration beyond design range.
Long-term sticky and humid dust adheres and accumulates,leading to local overflow.
6.Manufacturing&Quality Defects
Thin cabinet plate,deformation under long-term negative pressure.
Low-quality sintered plates with uneven pore size and poor overall tightness.
